Care Climb began the way most good adventures do — with friendship, curiosity, and a love for exploring places far from home. Along the way, we kept meeting incredible people and communities who welcomed us in and shared their stories.
We realised that travel could be more than movement. It could be connection.
It could be impact.
Our philosophy is simple:
Go exploring. Give back as you go.
Small actions. Shared moments. Practical support that makes everyday life a little brighter, safer, and easier for the people we meet.
Right now, our focus is on bringing safe, clean washroom facilities to remote communities in Sri Lanka — starting with the village of Nugedolawatta.
In many of these areas, families walk long distances for basic sanitation, and women and children often have no private or safe place to wash. A simple washroom can change daily life — creating dignity, safety and better health for the whole community.
We’ve already helped build one washroom in a nearby village, and we’re now raising funds to build the next. It’s humble work, but deeply needed — and every contribution helps create a safer, healthier future for these families.

Our first project began in Nepal when COVID devastated the tourism industry. We ran an Everest Elevation Challenge to raise funds, helping rebuild homes, cover children’s school fees, and support living costs for families we knew and cared about.

We created a “Kilimanjaro Day” event to raise funds for Amani House — a centre supporting homeless children. Together we funded a new computer room, provided food and learning resources, and helped a family start a small business.

Through community events (including our big Christmas wreath-making fundraiser), we helped fund a remote health camp and a tailoring program supporting disadvantaged women.

In partnership with Kansarmen Sri Lanka, we helped build a washroom in a remote community and are now fundraising to build another in the village of Nugedolawatta, where access to basic hygiene facilities is extremely limited.
You can help by donating, shopping through our fundraiser, joining an event, or simply spreading the word. Every bit creates real impact.
